We are pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Sunway Healthcare Group and Medtronic, marking a significant step forward in our strategic partnership, which underscores our shared commitment to addressing some of the most pressing healthcare challenges through medical care advancement and innovative solution development.

This collaboration will further enhance Centres of Excellence at our flagship Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City, Malaysia’s largest quaternary private hospital, with a focused effort on spine, neuroscience, and cardiovascular medicine. It will serve as a platform for knowledge exchange, professional development, and clinical research, particularly in advanced robotic surgical techniques.

The MoU was officially signed by Ms Jennifer Cho, Vice President for Island Southeast Asia at Medtronic and Dr Chow Huat Khoo, Managing Director of Hospital and Healthcare Operations at Sunway Healthcare Group. The ceremony was graciously witnessed by Mr Simon Yam, Country Director for Malaysia at Medtronic and Dato’ Beng Long Lau, President of Sunway Healthcare Group.
