Celebrating Milestone of Over 1000 Robotic Joint Replacement Cases

We celebrated the remarkable achievement of over 1000 robotic hip and knee joint replacement surgeries at our Orthopaedic Clinic! This achievement underscores our pioneering role in robotic technology and its impact on improving the lives of thousands of patients.

The event featured all our robotic-trained arthroplasty surgeons, along with representatives from senior management, including Dr Khoo Chow Huat, Managing Director (Hospital & Healthcare Operations); Dr Seow Vei Ken, CEO of Sunway Medical Centre, Sunway City; Teh Saw Ha, Senior Director of Finance; Sherry Woo, Senior Director of Allied Health Services; Rugayah Binti Md Yasin, Senior Director of Quality Resources; Tan Mei Shin, Senior Director of Business Development & Corporate Communications; teams from Operating Theatre (OT), Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), Rehabilitation, Wards, Radiology, BDCC, and BOFF; as well as our corporate partners, Stryker and Zimmer Biomet.
